Polissya is considered to be the modern enterprise with complete production cycle – from quarrying and processing of the natural stone up to sale of thereof.

The equipment being used at the enterprise is manufactured by leading worldwide known companies. The block stones are being processed with triple saw blades of 3000 mm diameters manufactured by PROMASH and MONSTAL (Poland) and power rope saw bench manufactured by MICHELE FAZION (Italy). For the purpose of slabs edging the double saw benches with PROMASH (Poland) blades of 600 and 800 mm diameters are being used. Polishing of articles is being provided by application of unmanned machine tools manufactured by PROMASH (Poland) and CARL MEYER (Germany).

Polissya was founded in 1991 as stone-working enterprise using the purchased raw materials.

As Ukraine shew the economic growth and entered the world markets, the demands of consumers grew accordingly. In order to meet such demands, the Company has elaborated the new strategy as to espansion and upgrading of production. In this time, the enterprise has not only worked up the Ukrainian market, but also come to the forefront both at near and far abroad.

For the purpose of increasing of the production output, the own gabbro deposit Bukivske-1 was mined in 1998. Gabbro-Gallant is considered to be the international name for the stone originating from this deposit, registered in the International Homological Register.

Also, in 2006 there was mined anorthosite deposit Lukovetske.
